PadLock is a simple and lightweight application locker.
It is different from other application lockers in that it requires zero extra permissions to run. PadLock only requires that the user allow it Usage Access, which is used to monitor the current foreground application. PadLock does not collect any information.
PadLock requires Usage Access to secure your device. This service is used to monitor for the applications that you want to be locked. When PadLock notices that you have launched an application that you want to lock, it will secure the application with a custom lock screen.
PadLock is proud to be:
• Lightweight with few permissions. • Completely free and open source. • Simple and easy to use. • More reliable than other application lockers at correctly securing your device.
PadLock is developed in the open on GitHub at: https://github.com/pyamsoft/padlock The entire source code of the application is available. If you know a few things about Android programming and are wanting to help out with development you can do so by creating issue tickets to squash bugs, and propose feature requests for future inclusion.
