Checkers is a two-player game. Each player uses twelve playing pieces to start the game. The playing pieces can move forward only one square at a time in a diagonal direction to an empty square. You can captures the opponent’s piece by jumping over it into an adjacent and empty square beyond it. The captured pieces are removed from the board. A checkers move can consist of many jumps if more than one piece could be taken by continuing the jump; In a multiple jump, the Checker can change directions. A player cannot jump over his own Checkers. When a Checker reaches the last row of the opponent, it then becomes a King.
