For greater control over mixtures mix colors of the same approximate value and tinting strength. In other words ensure that one color does not overpower another color too much.
In the resolver mode, you select a color from the color dialog or pick soon from an image in your gallery or camera, and the app will give you the combination that mix into the selected colors.
